If incoming emails are being caught by spam filtering, you can manage this in the Junk Mail Filters section of the hosting package. From here you can set the general filtering level, and allow-list specific addresses or domains so their mail always reaches the inbox.
Locate the Junk Mail Filters icon within the hosting package in CHI. The filtering level controls how strictly incoming mail is scanned for spam. The available levels are:
If a customer wants to ensure mail from a particular sender always gets through, you can add an allow rule under Allow by Sender within the Junk Mail Filters section.
Rules can be scoped in two ways:
To allow a single email address:
[email protected]
To allow all mail from a domain:
*@thedomain.com
Mail from allow-listed addresses or domains will bypass the spam filter entirely and be delivered straight to the inbox.
To block incoming mail entirely, use the Reject by Sender section. As with allow rules, reject rules can be set as a domain rule (applying to all mailboxes and forwarders on the receiving domain) or scoped to a specific mailbox.
To block all mail from a specific domain:
hotmail.com
To block all mail from a top-level domain:
.ru
Server-level inbox rules can be configured inside Webmail. These allow you to automatically move messages from certain senders, or containing certain words, into folders based on one or more conditions you define.
To get started, log in to Webmail and go to Settings - Filters - Default.
