This article will help you register a new domain name with Westhost.
Type the Domain name you are thinking of using. Click “Search”.
Categories - On the far left side you will see a list of categories for various TLD types. This can help you quickly locate a domain name and TLD ending that is appropriate for the website you are setting up.
Availability of the Domain - In the center section you will see a list of possible domains similar to the one you searched. The domain will be listed as either “Taken” or “Available”. Choose an available domain name.
Renewal Time - On the right side of each domain there is a dropdown bar with the price/year and options to pay for multiple years upon purchase. Choose the length of time you wish to register the domain.
This is an optional step. If you do not have any account credit or do not wish to use it proceed to the next step.
Once you’ve verified the information is correct click “Checkout”. Your order will then be processed and completed.
This is the email where you receive your billing notices.
Open the “Immediate Verification” email. Next, click on the “Verify your email address” link to complete your domain setup.
Your domain name is now available for you to use.
