How To Add Or Change A CNAME Record

To add a new or change an existing DNS CNAME record, connect to your cPanel account and bring up either the "Simple" or the "Advanced DNS Zone Editor."
Select the type, set up a name, and configure where the CNAME needs to go. You cannot enter something like an IP address [eg 123.45.67.890] for a CNAME. It needs to be a fully qualified domain name like something.domain.com.
Please allow 2-6 hours for DNS record changes to update within the WestHost system. Full DNS propagation can take 24 - 48 hours throughout the Internet.
