How To Connect To WebMail

This article is for cPanel Accounts. Determine where your account is with this guide.

You can easily access WebMail for your account in a browser by going to yourdomain.com/webmail where yourdomain.com is the domain name for your account. If your domain does NOT resolve to WestHost this link will not work.

Some ISPs [Internet Service Providers] block the port that WebMail through cPanel operates on -- they are sometimes considered non-standard ports. In this case, you can also connect through webmail.yourdomain.com, which should get you connected successfully.

that WebMail uses port 2095 [2096 for https]. You can enable these in your network or Firewall on your local machine to allow Webmail access.

Remember to use your full e-mail address as the user name to connect to WebMail. If the username is info then you will log in with info@yourdomain.com to successfully connect.

Once logged in you can select from Horde, SquirrelMail, or Roundcube. You can choose whichever one you like best and can even set one to auto-load whenever you connect to Webmail.
