If you use a tool like PHPList, an e-commerce application, or a plugin for a WordPress blog that needs to send out e-mail through your WestHost server you will want to make sure it is configured correctly.

Some basic settings are as follows.

SMTP Host: localhost
Username: your cPanel user
Password: your cPanel password
Port: the SMTP port 25 or 2525
