How To Create A Service Package Add On In Site Manager


To create a new Add-On for a service package, you will need to do the following:

Creating a new Add-on:

  • Proceed to "Service Packages"

  • Click the "Add New Service Package" button

  • Step 1:

    • Enter the name and description of the Add-On

    • Verify that the "Enabled" checkbox is selected

    • Select the server group that this Add-On will belong to.

  •  Step 2:

    • Select  "Add-on"

    • Select the resource that this Add-On defines (disk, bandwidth, etc.)

  • Step 3:

    • Define the parameters that refer to the resource you selected. For example, enter a soft and hard limit for disk quota.

    • Click the "Finish" button.

    • Review the Add-On specifications and Click the "Back" button.

Connecting the Add-On to a basic service package:

  • Click the basic service package that you want to connect the Add-On to.

  • Click the "Edit" button.

  • Click "Next" until you are prompted to step: "Edit Service Package - Select Add-Ons"

  • Select the Add-On you want to add from the Available Add-Ons window and click the  button.


  • Click the "Next" button until you are prompted to "Finish" button. click the "Finish" button.

You have now created the link between the Add-On and the service package.

Applying an Add-On to an end-user account (VPS):

If you as the account parent want to add an Add-On to the account for any reason, then you should follow these steps:

  • Proceed to the "Accounts" tab.

  • Click the account that you want to apply the Add-On to

  • Click the "Edit" button

  • Select the "Apply Service Package" checkbox. By selecting this checkbox you will be able to get to the next screen where you can select the Add-On you want to apply.
    Note: This action will implement all modifications that you have made to this account's service package. For example, if you modified the quotas in the service package but did not apply the changes to the accounts, then this action will apply the changes to this specific account, but not to all other accounts that are assigned with this package.

  • Click the "Next" button.

  • Select the Add-On you want to add from the Available Add-Ons window and click the  button.

  • Click "Next" until you are prompted to the "Finish" button. Click the "Finish" button.
    Server Manager has now applied all the service package changes and re-calculated all the quotas for this account (Package + Add-Ons).
