The governing body of domains, ICANN, requires valid contact information (called WHOIS) to be listed for every domain name. In addition to including valid contact information.

  1. Sign in at chi.westhost.com.

  2. Click on the “Domains” tab.

     3. Click on the domain for which you want to edit the WHOIS information.

    4. Click on the “WHOIS” tab at the top of the screen.

Step Two: Edit the Contact Information

  1. Edit your information.

  2. Check the box to agree to allow WestHost to make changes to your registrant information. For full terms and conditions, click here.

  3. Click “Save Changes”.

There are three types of contact information that you can update: the Registrant, Admin, and Tech contact information. If you manage the domain yourself, simply click the “Copy data from Registrant Contact” button.

If you have any questions about this process, or anything else, please contact technical support by creating a ticket or opening a chat.
