What Is An Addon Domain

This article describes add-on domains, their function, and how to tell if your WestHost account includes add-on domains.

Some shared hosting plans from WestHost allow you to host multiple websites on a single account. These secondary domains are referred to as “add-on domains” because they attach to your original domain and do not require their hosting account.

If your hosting plan allows for the hosting of add-on domains, you will see this tab within your CHI account control panel within the “shared hosting” tab:

To purchase a hosting plan with add-on domains, please refer to the “Website” section when selecting a shared hosting plan. You can choose how many additional websites you would like to add to your account.
