How to setup Mail Client on a Mac using CHI Mail system.



Step 1. Select ‘Preferences’ in the menu under the Mail tab in the top left hand corner.

Step 2. Click the ‘+’ sign in the bottom left hand of your screen to add an account.

Step 3. Select the ‘Other Mail Account…’ option.


Step 4. Enter your full email address and the password associated with that email address.



If you do not remember your password you can update it by logging into your CHI account:

a.) Sign in to chi.westhost.com

b.) Navigate to Domains.

c.) Select your the domain name attached to the email address.

d.) Under the email section you have the option to update your password.

Step 5. When clicking ‘Sign In’ the system may have you verify your server information.


If this comes up please complete all of the fields.

User Name: Your Email Address (All Lowercase)

Password: Your Email Account Password

Incoming Mail Server: chimail.westhost.com

Outgoing Mail Server: chimail.westhost.com
