Multiple Domain Hosting

Figure 1All WestHost packages support the ability to host multiple domains within your hosting account. You can point multiple domains to the same directory (e.g. abc.com and abc.net point to the same place). You can also point domains to separate directories (e.g. jkl.com to /jkl/, xyz.com to /xyz/) (See Figure 1).

If you create an e-mail username (e.g. "joe"), mail is automatically captured for each of your domains within your hosting account (joe@abc.com, joe@abc.net, joe@jkl.com, and joe@xyz.org would all go to the same mailbox) (See Figure 2).

Figure 2NOTE: If you need to have the same e-mail username (e.g. "joe") created for multiple domains, but would prefer to have separate mailboxes for each domain (e.g. joe@abc.com and joe@xyz.org are separate mailboxes), you should consider setting up the domains on separate hosting accounts (VPS's).

To increase your package domain limit, you can pay a one-time $10 setup fee for each additional domain you want added, or upgrade to a package that has a higher limit.
