1. How does the Volume Discount Program work? - Top

The Volume Discount Program allows you the ability to purchase multiple accounts from WestHost for discounted rates. The more accounts you have active, the larger your discount will be on your hosting fees.

In addition to the discounted rate on hosting, the Volume Discount Program can also be used for reselling. The control panel (Site Manager) for all Volume Discount Program hosting accounts is unbranded, with no references to WestHost.

2. When do I get the discount, and how large of a discount can I get using the Volume Discount Program? - Top

Discounts start on the Volume Discount Program with the purchase of your third account. The more accounts you have active, the higher your discount will be, up to 35% off the monthly fee.

3. Can I use the Volume Discount Program to resell? - Top

Yes, you can certainly use the Volume Discount Program for the purpose of reselling. The control panel (Site Manager) on each account purchased through this program will come unbranded, with no references to WestHost. WestHost offers Reseller Plans as well.

4. How do I add additional features to my Volume Discount Hosting accounts? - Top

Additional features and upgrades can be purchased for any of your accounts through WestHost's Add-ons Order Form.

5. Will each account have its own control panel? - Top

Every account purchased through the Volume Discount Program will have its own unbranded (Site Manager) control panel. This is also useful if you decide to resell your Volume Discount Program accounts.

6. How is billing handled? - Top

On the first of each month, WestHost will invoice you for the accounts you own that are up for renewal. When you place an order for a new account, you must pay the first month, quarter, year, or 2 years in advance. All hosting accounts are billed on either a monthly, quarterly, yearly, or 2 year basis. If you are using the Volume Discount Program for the purpose of reselling, you are responsible for collecting payment from your clients.

7. How is Technical Support handled? - Top

You are welcome to contact WestHost directly for any technical support needs. If you are using your Volume Discount Hosting accounts for the purpose of reselling, you will be the first point of contact for your clients. You can then contact WestHost's technical support for assistance in resolving your clients' issues. We also provide a complete WestHost User Manual located in our Members Area.

8. Who handles the domain name registration for my clients? - Top

WestHost offers domain registration for Volume Discount Program clients and for resellers. If you would like to purchase a domain name on behalf of your client, you can use our Reseller Domain Registration Order Form.

If you have your domain registered elsewhere, you can host your domain with WestHost by purchasing an account, and pointing your domain to:

Primary Name Server: ns1.west-datacenter.net
Primary Name Server IP: 69.36.161.11

Secondary Name Server: ns2.west-datacenter.net
Secondary Name Server IP: 69.36.161.12

9. How can I set up my own domain name servers? - Top

For a $10 monthly fee, you can have your own Custom Name Servers (e.g. ns.yourdomain.com & ns2.yourdomain.com). To order your own DNS, complete our standard Add-ons Order Form and choose a domain name for your name server.
