1. What is the WestHost Affiliate Program? - Top
The WestHost Affiliate Program allows participants to refer prospective Web hosting clients to WestHost in exchange for a commission on each resulting sale. All affiliates are provided with a unique tracking code to use when referring prospective sales to WestHost. This code can be used on a Web site, with an e-mail campaign, or in search listings. Web hosting sales that result from a click on an affiliate's tracking code, and meet the other eligibility requirements, will receive a commission.
2. How do I join the WestHost Affiliate Program? - Top
Signing up for WestHost's affiliate program is easy and quick. The program is free to use, and requires no obligation from you. Simply provide some registration and payment details and then you can immediately begin referring people to WestHost using your unique tracking code.

3. How long does it take to become a WestHost affiliate? - Top
Registration to become an affiliate takes only a few short minutes. Once you have submitted your form, you can instantly begin referring clients to WestHost to receive a commission.
4. How much can I earn through the WestHost Affiliate Program? - Top
There is no limit to the amount of money or referrals you can make through the WestHost Affiliate Program. There is also no monthly minimum requirement to receive a payout. Refer to our affiliate program page for more details on exactly how much you'll earn with each sale.
5. How often will I be paid? - Top
Payments are made to affiliates on the first month after the referred client has been active for 30 days. For instance, if you referred a client in the middle of February, you will then receive a check for the eligible commission the first month after the client has met that 30 day obligation, or in this case during the month of April. Affiliate checks are sent each month for qualifying sales, there is no monthly minimum to receive payout.
6. What technical skills do affiliates need to have? - Top
As an affiliate you only need to be able to copy and paste HTML into a Web site to begin referring clients. You can also refer clients by pasting your link in an e-mail and sending it to your contacts.
7. How do you track my affiliate transactions? - Top
WestHost's affiliate program relies on placing a cookie in a user's browser to track your sales. The cookie that is placed is harmless and does not collect any information from the user other than details specific to tracking the sale as a commission for you, the affiliate.
8. Can I use my commission towards Web hosting fees or service? - Top
At this time the WestHost Affiliate Program does not allow for commissions to be applied to your normal Web hosting bill. If you're interested in referring clients to WestHost in exchange for free Web hosting, please consider the WestHost Referral Program instead.
9. Do I need to have a Web site to become a WestHost affiliate? - Top
No, you are not required to have a Web site in order to be a WestHost affiliate. While promoting WestHost's services is generally much easier by placing banners on a Web site, you can also use e-mail only promotion as well.
10. I have a Web site, do I need to have it hosted with WestHost in order to become an affiliate? - Top
No, the WestHost Affiliate Program is for both clients and non clients. You do not need to be an existing client of WestHost to take part in our affiliate program.
11. Can I move my own Web site to WestHost and receive a commission? - Top
You are welcome to move your Web site to WestHost, but currently WestHost does not pay for self-referrals, and you would not receive a commission.
12. How can I track my sales and commissions? - Top
All statistical information including clicks, sales, commissions, and more, can be accessed through the WestHost affiliate control panel that is provided to you immediately after signing up for the program.
13. Where do I get my affiliate tracking code and banners to become an affiliate? - Top
After you have signed up for the WestHost Affiliate Program, you can log into your affiliate control panel and retrieve your tracking code and choose from numerous banners that WestHost has provided.
14. Can I participate if I reside outside of the United States? - Top
Yes, many of our best affiliates reside outside of the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please consider that WestHost only pays commissions in US dollars in the form of a check.
15. Whom do I contact with any questions about my account or my commissions? - Top
