Domain Name Transfer
Domain Name Transfer refers to moving from one Domain Registrar to another. When transferring your website to WestHost, you can also either transfer your existing domain to our registration services, or ask your current Domain Registrar to point your domain at our Domain Name Servers (DNS). In transferring your domain, we will EXTEND your current expiration date.
NOTE: In order to ensure a successful domain transfer from your current Domain Registrar, make sure your domain:
- Has not expired or is not within 14 days of expiring
- Has not been renewed within the last 45 days
- Has not been registered within the last 60 days
- Is not involved in any legal or payment dispute
