Name Servers
A Name Server keeps a database of domain names and their associated IP addresses. When a user searches for a domain name, the request must go through a Name Server to translate the domain name and obtain the corresponding IP address. This way the request can be routed to the correct server where the website resides.
Domains registered with WestHost are automatically directed to our Name Servers. If you have registered your domain with a different Domain Registrar, you will need to have them change your Name Servers to WestHost's:
