Tell us about your Web site.
3tailer is an online retailer currently operating multiple Ecommerce websites including choicediabeticsocks.com and Gift-Lover.com. We're launching Teaflection.com this quarter and have plans for 3-5 more websites over the next 6 months.
What prompted you to build a Web site originally?
In 2005 Chad Ledford and I were seniors at Appalachian State University (Michigan who?) and entered an entrepreneurship contest. I won with my idea for EmbarrassingHealthProducts.com and so we created 3tailer, LLC as the company behind the idea. EHP didn't quite pan out (yet) so instead, Chad was already running choicediabeticsocks.com at the time so we decided to focus on that. We put choicediabeticsocks.com under 3tailer, LLC and migrated it away from Microsoft's bCentral and on to a WestHost server. choicediabeticsocks.com is now the Web's leading sock outlet.
What improvements would you like to make to your Web site in the future?
3tailer.com is pretty stagnant but we're putting a lot of time and resources into a custom eCommerce platform that uses CSS, AJAX, Jquery, etc. that you can see at JustFutonCovers.com. We plan to add a blog to 3tailer.com but other than that no further plans.
How has WestHost helped your business or Web site succeed?
WestHost's support is phenomenal. I use the Live Chat probably too much (sorry guys!). Your support team has even helped me with IT issues I've had which probably aren't really problems that you should have had to take care of and I appreciate you for that. Whenever I've screwed up something with the website, WestHost has gotten me back up and running in no time, saving me time and money.
