Our system utilizes a unique "watchdog" system. This system checks the Web service on your WestHost VPS every 30 seconds and restarts if it's down. If the Web service cannot be restarted, you are immediately notified.
This is just one added level of redundancy to ensure reliability. Apache Watchdog can be accessed and managed through the Account Settings section of your control panel (Site Manager).
